URL Systems Inc. seeks Project Lead for Metuchen, NJ. Estimate technical work, involved in assigned tasks & prepare detailed work plans accordingly. Provide tech guidance & input in design, development and maintenance aspects of projects (debug & trouble shoot). Work on various operating systems including Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2 & UNIX (HP-UX, SUN OS, SOLARIS) & their security delegation & storage components. Implement the internal & external database security. Monitor & tune DB's to provide high availability services for highly transactional & mission critical applications. Work on hardware storage elements including SAN & RAID levels used along with SQL Server. Work on ETL tools including SSIS used in integrating data from various systems. Provide technical assistance & expertise for software engineers. Review technical completion stages & technical bottlenecks. Use the following to perform the job - OS UNIX (HP-UX, SUN OS, SOLARIS), Windows 2003/2000, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Java, Swings, JDBC, T/SQL, C, C++, HTML, Informatica, Crystal Reports, ERStudio, Erwin, SQL Server Integration Services and Reporting Services, MS Project, Oracle DB Modellar & Quest Toad. Other similar duties as assigned. M-F; 9 am - 6 pm. 40 hrs/week. $138,590/Year. Req Bachelors or equiv., deg, in Comp Science, Engr, Math or equiv., and 5 years exp in the job offered or 5 years exp as a S/W Engineer or equiv. Exp to include - OS UNIX (HP-UX, SUN OS, SOLARIS), Windows 2003/2000, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Java, Swings, JDBC, T/SQL, C, C++, HTML, Informatica, Crystal Reports, ERStudio, Erwin, SQL Server Integration Services & Reporting Services. Relocation & travel to unanticipated locations within USA possible. Note: Employer will accept suitable combination of education, training or exp.
