Questpay, Inc. dba V2 Technologies, Inc. in Metuchen, NJ is seeking Data Warehouse Analysts/Developers to develop customized ETL systems that will populate various companies' Data Warehouse needs. Individuals will apply advanced knowledge of data architecture and data modeling to perform the following job duties: Work with Data Architects and Data Definition Owners in various subject areas. Develop sophisticated design to enhance the business needs. Involved in all phases of development starting from Requirements Analysis, Data profiling, Data Certification, High level design, Low level design, Coding, and Testing, Supported System Testing and UAT and Implementation. Responsible for translating requirements to technical specifications and design documents, and developing Informatica mappings to load the data from files to Oracle database and from Teradata to Oracle databases. Responsible for migrating the mapping using Version Control tool to various environments like QA, PT and PROD. Investigate and implement new technologies that can improve the effectiveness of the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems by working with business intelligence group to understand business requirements and coordinate technical specifications for ETL design. Responsible for creating engineering requirements and technical designs from business requirements. Utilizing Agile and Waterfall SDLC experience. Implement oracle database optimization for the ETL such as indexes and stored procedures. Handling critical projects with frequently changing requirements and provided fast turnaround results. May perform other duties normal to this occupation, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering or any related IT major that provided the required knowledge and skills. Individuals must also have at least one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any related position that provided the required skills and abilities. Individual must also have demonstrable experience with the following: Working with PL/SQL, Oracle, Teradata, DB2, SQL Server 2008. ETL products such as Informatica, Data Stage, or Oracle Warehouse Builder. BTEQs, MLOADs, or Fast Loads and tuning techniques. Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, CA Erwin r9.5, or Power Designer 16.1.0. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated job academic level and experience requirements and ability to perform job duties. No travel or telecommuting. The position is project-based at long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S., and
relocation may be required at the end of each project.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
